"Brigit and Benny: A Modern Faerietale" has been selected to screen at The Festival of the Spirit in July.

The film was successfully completed in March and launched to an invited audience of cast, crew and industry people at the Museum of Modern Media this month. We also screened our original short film fixNATION as well as the Making of Brigit and Benny.

A great evening was had by all and the Museum was the perfect setting - surrounded by iconic images and items from Australia's film and television past.

Special thanks to Bob Phillips and Judy Banks for hosting the event and Marg Woodlock-McLean for organizing and managing the event.

We are starting afresh with the soundtrack - writing more music in a slightly different style. As the film is now being entered into two major international festivals, we are lengthening the film by a few minutes to include all the extra footage that had to be cut in the last edit. Special effects are looking incredible, with Luke and Yanni working overtime to achieve some amazing results.

The producers would like to take this opportunity to thank the "Brigit & Benny" team publicly for all their support and goodwill.

We are thrilled with the all-embracing enthusiastic attitude the cast and crew have displayed throughout this whole process - their dedication, hard work and talent is vastly appreciated and will hopefully be well-rewarded over the coming months.

The cut as of January 14 has been submitted to various places, but as we're not happy with the sound mix, we're back in the edit and re-doing the audio. More music is required to fill out the soundscape, and so we're considering re-doing the entire soundtrack again.

The film is continues in the edit, with audio now being added to the mix. Special effects are turning out brilliantly, with Luke pulling out all the stops. Yanni continues to refine the cut and we are on schedule to make the deadline of January 14.
